Skyrim getting Game of the Year is a joke when you consider how many bugs this game has. It won't even run on the PS3 up to a certain point, but it still gets GOTY.
Adam and Morgan are HUGE, Skyrim, Fanboys and I knew from E3 that this was their GOTY no matter what.

I honestly wanted Portal 2 to win GoTY. I bet Skyrim is an awesome game, but holy crap it's overrated.

how did Skyward Sword not win the "Best Motion Control" category? I mean really. I've never even heard of this "Dance Central 2" and don't exactly care to, but someone enlighten me if I'm just completely ignorant of its apparent brilliance or something. :/

SS won viewer's GOTY and Skyrim won x-play's GOTY. So I say that both games are even.

How in the hell did NBA 2k11 beat God of War 3 for best animation? Oops...that was last year. Sorry.
What I meant to say was, "how in the hell did NBA 2k12 beat Uncharted 3 for best animation?".
And lol at the best motion control game. G4 is located in a magical fantasy land called Flights of Fancy.

WTF happen to Bastion,o well, the spike awards where better this year not because of production value but this time they did use common sense for the game nominees and awards, plus the creator of Mario was there , anyway I still love x play they do the best with what they got, I just hate when they get a little bias towards call of duty but other then that, great show,awesome job!!!!!

I rather watch the game award show on Spike then this. Spike gave SS the respect it deserved! Plus Zelda got nominated in the Hall of Fame! Also on Spike game award show SS got best motion control. I think that Spikes game award show is probably the most accurate game award show. Don't get me wrong Skyrim is a great game but X-play just trashed SS. SS FTW!

Aww come on. Dark Souls wasn't even nominated for the Best Animation category? The entire point behind the combat system is the exactness of the animation, causing the player to function precisely to know and administer those animations. Without the (best) animation (in any game/series) the game would be another Ninja Crapden or God of Crap.

Best downloadable should have been Bastion...just sayin. Played both and Stacking doesn't even compar, although it is also a good game.
