Hard Reset

Polish studio Flying Wild Hog came out of nowhere earlier this year when it teased and, mere months later, released its stylish cyberpunk-themed FPS Hard Reset. The game's old-school flavor mixed well with the new-school visual appeal; you can read all about it in our Hard Reset review.

The game was a digital-only release when it arrived on September 13, but now Flying Wild Hog confirms in a press statement that a retail release is planned for March 2012 (still only for Windows PC though). An Extended Edition, no less.

New content will include: five new levels (roughly two hours of gameplay), four new enemies, a new boss, a new back story and two new survival mode maps. The press release also mentions an "updated graphics engine" and "additional gameplay elements," but offers no specifics on what that actually means.
