The Last Of Us is a brand new PlayStation 3 exclusive apocoptlyptic survival game coming at us from Naughty Dog.
We've already seen a few trailers from The Last Of Us, the first of which displays a society in shambles and glimpses of quarantine signs, while the second depicts a mind-controlling fungus found in multiple species of ants from Brazil's Atlantic rain forest that has the ability to take over the mind of their hosts. Check out the game's first cinematic trailer below.
We'll have more details on The Last Of Us in the coming days, so be sure to stay tuned.

I saw the chick and 1st thing came to my head was "Juno"
then i saw the rest, 2nd thing came to my head was "I am Legend" looks really good though.

Give you all a little bit of info. The fungus that they talk about is real. It is found on "zombie ants" in the rainforest. So the idea of the game could turn true. Can't wait to play!

apocoptlyptic? o.O Spell check, ftw? :P But seriously, I am really intrigued by this. I am not a fan of the Zombie/post apocalyptic type of game, but...Its Naughty Dog. They'll find some way to make it awesome. I am very eager to see more! :D

I'm not sure what the hype is about... so far post apoc games have usually had some kind of a hook to make it really interesting or build on someone elses take(even if it was total BS, yeah i'm looking at you dead island you soab). This looks like I am Legend and ... well frankly that movie kinda sucked and this trailer doesnt show much, although it is EXTREMELY pretty. I'm not gonna get hyped up till I see more...

I like Naughty Dog and really enjoyed the Uncharted series, but I wish they would return to their roots a little bit. Where are my games like Crash and Jak? That was the Naughty Dog I grew up with and the one I sorely miss. This looks really pretty and I know that Naughty Dog will most likely do a good job, cause that is what they do but I just want something classic platformery...

I don't exactly want to bash Naughty dog or sony here, but another survival horror game seems like a poor decision to me. It's my suspicion that Sony pushed Naughty Dog into this, they seem to do this when they feel their platform doesn't have...something...Like killzone was supposed to be the fps that competed with Halo. It's a business minded effort to compete with other games on other platforms it seems to me. This is one of Sony's failing, is at times following others when really I think survival horror is kind of dead. Getting Naughty Dog to do this could cost them, their brand name could suffer if it flops.

Does look like a slightly older Nathan Drake. Expedition to find cursed treasure gone wrong, and all he was able to do was save his daughter? Can't really tell much from the trailer other than its a "zombie" game. But I trust Naughty Dog to make awesome games. we'll see how it goes.
