Batman: Arkham City Lockdown, a new app from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment, is out now for iOS devices like the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. The game was developed by NetherRealm Studios, the creators of Mortal Kombat, on the Unreal Engine, and features many of Gotham's most dangerous criminals like The Joker, Two-Face, Solomon Grundy, and a special iOS-exclusive character named Deathstroke.
The game plays a bit like Infinity Blade 2 and its graphics are honestly amazing. You'll fight through Gotham in a series of one-on-one battles and have use of several power-ups as you, "punch, kick and combo your way to cleaning up Gotham City."
“We here at NetherRealm Studios are huge fans of Batman: Arkham City, and we were very excited to develop Batman: Arkham City Lockdown to extend the franchise experience to iPad, iPhone and iPod touch,” said Ed Boon, Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios. “The app delivers a different take on Batman gameplay in which players must combat against some of the fan favorite villains in Arkham City.”

Will download this as soon as I leave work. It'll be nice to have a bit of Arkham City on my iPhone and iPad :)

Is mark Hamill the voice of the joker in this? does that mean hes breaking his retirement already? or is this technically with the last game?

This should be DLC for the console game. I would love to have a Nightwing DLC mission pack ala Catwoman where he goes after Deathstroke

You guys need to stop complaining. Xbox has it's exclusives, PS3 has it's exclusives, and Wii has... whatever the hell the Wii has. This is the same

On the rails Batman? And Deathstroke is in it? Why wasn't Deathstroke in the main game, and why am I such a DC fanboy that's going to buy an on the rails Batman for a device I haven't used for games since Infinity Blade?

I am so sick and tired of all this catering to the hipsters and their damn "i Devices". There are plenty of Android phones and tablets that are capiable of running this game.
