BioWare's long-awaited MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic is out on December 20, but those who pre-ordered the game were promised early access that was supposed to have started on December 15. That plan has changed. Early access NOW begins on December 13... sort of.
An update from BioWare on the game's website (via Kotaku) reveals that early access is NOW set to begin in the early morning on December 13, a full week before the actual release. There's a catch though: not everyone will be getting in all at once. BioWare will be e-mailing users based on the order in which their pre-order codes were redeemed, presumably to cut down on the crush of day one early access sign-ins. If you haven't redeemed your pre-order code already, do so now, as the game can now be pre-loaded in preparation for next week's release.
