Dead Rising 2: Off the Record wasn't exactly the follow-up to 2010's Dead Rising 2 that it could have been, largely because it was basically the same game with a tweaked story and Frank West replacing Chuck Greene as the main character. Capcom's not done with the zombie carnage yet, however, as a new Facebook update reveals.
The Dead Rising Facebook profile has a new status update posted (via CVG) that hints at what's to come for the series. It reads: "I’m getting packing for my new adventure – camera, notebook and baseball bat. What else would i need for a break in paradise? - Frank"
So it seems like a safe bet that Frank will be back in the next outing. What about that mention of "paradise" though? Could that be a nod toward the next game's setting? A tropical resort might be problematic, given that this year's Techland zombie game Dead Island uses that kind of setting. Or am I reading too much into the status update? Where would you like to see the next Dead Rising adventure take us?

The Dead rising series is one of my favorite series. Dead Rising 1 was pretty good but Dead Rising 2 was even better with the combo weapons, Dead Rising 2 off the record was okay but I still enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to more Zombie killings with Dead Rising 3 hopefully with both Frank and Chuck together. All I ask is Capcom PLEASE PLEASE stop with the Zombie genocide Achievements. Now as for location when I hear Paradise I think of someplace hot or tropical so I would assume the setting would be placed there but what kind of shopping mall/casino like place could be set in a place like that?

I enjoyed the first Dead Rising but the second one just didn't do it for me. I guess if they're going to make another one try something new like Time Square, NY or maybe Tokyo...In any case rather then another Dead Rising how bout we get a new Left 4 Dead with a more in depth story!

Could care less about the dead rising franchise anymore, played the first two and after a few hours of each I wasn't really immersed enough in the game to really keep playing

Since Dead Island abviously borrowed many ideads and concepts(ripped off) from Dead Rising, wouldn't it be fitting( and hilariouse) if Capcom stole Techlands ideas and make a suprerior and less glitchy game.
