Xenoblade, the fantastic Wii RPG from Monolith Soft is finally coming to America on April 3, 2012! The weird part is that the game will be a GameStop store exclusive title, which is kind of strange since that might hurt its sales.
Xenoblade originally only came out in Japan and later made its way to PAL regions, making American gamers angry enough to start up a huge petition called Operation Rainfall (which got over 10,000 signatures) to get acclaimed Nintendo titles like Xenoblade to come over to the states. As a huge RPG fan myself, I imported the title (damn my impatience!) and I honestly think that it's one of the best RPGs, maybe one of the best games, of this generation. At the time it was a shame that it didn't originally come out in the US, but now we'll all get to play it which is great.
If you're not familiar with Xenoblade, it's an absolutely gorgeous Wii game that follows the story of Shulk, a young man who can wield an energy blade called the Monado against a robotic force called the Mechon and he eventually has to save the world. When it originally came out in Japan it was the best-selling Wii game of the year, and it has received almost universal praise from everyone that has played it.
If you love RPGs and you have a Wii, this is truly a must-have title, and we should all be really happy that it's finally coming to the states so that everyone has a chance to play, and so that Nintendo can make some more money. Are you looking forward to finally getting the chance to play Xenoblade? You should be!

About flippin time it did, one of the better jrpgs to ever come out. Lets just hope Pandora's Tower gets the same treatment.

NOW, just to spite Nintendo, no one should buy it... EFF them for telling their fans to eff off because they think less of their American fan base...I know I'm not even a fan, but it was wrong for them to dismiss their audience like that. BOO THIS MAN!!! BOOOO!!!

I'm pre-ordering this game as soon as Nintendo lets me on the 19th from their site. I said I wanted this game, I do want this game, and I put my money where my mouth is.
If you have a Wii, BUY IT. If you know someone with a Wii, convince them to get it, or buy it for them as a gift.

Is it possible the only GameStop was willing to guarantee shelf space or 'X" amount of sales? It is strange that it will only be available through that vendor, but 'don't look a gift horse...etc...etc). If indeed GameStop was the only vendor to court or convince Monolith Soft to port the game over then kudos to them.

GameStop really makes this bitter, at least it's coming to America, though it should have came out this year.

if it lets u use a classical controller and/or usb keyboard like a true RPG then i will dust of my wii and buy this game but till better games come out as well as this im gonna conitnue to use my PC.PS3,xbox 360 slim !!

Excited, hell so excited that I finally had the motivation to go to Gamestop and pick up the other xeno games and try them out. When I told the gamestop clerk, it makes me laugh now because he said he saw something on here saying a few days ago that they denied this rumor
