Skyrim Getting A Free Interactive Map App For iOS, Dragon Shout

Posted November 29, 2011 - By Adam Rosenberg

For all of its many issues, both the hilarious ones and the glaring ones, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim continues to steal hearts, minds and hours from the gaming world this holiday season thanks to its epic scale and its abundance of dragons. That map though... fast travel is great, but there's just SO MUCH to Skyrim that the world map is often inadequate for keeping track of locations that don't get fast travel markers.

Enter the upcoming (and completely FREE) iOS app, Dragon Shout. It's an interactive Skyrim map which lets users drop as many markers as they'd like into the world, and even annotate them for easier reference. Eventually, the plan is to update the app with some community features like marker sharing and pictures. It's a free download for iPhone and iPad, and it should be out "within the next couple of days," according to Touch Arcade. You can also check out the app's official website for more information.
