Evolution Studios already gave us a MotorStorm release earlier this year with MotorStorm: Apocalypse, so we probably won't be seeing another disc-based release in the series next year. Fortunately, neither the PlayStation Vita nor the PlayStation Network needs to rely on discs.
There's a new trailer up on the PlayStation Blog for Evolution's MotorStorm RC, which shrinks the series' vehicles down to radio-controlled toy proportions. The gameplay more closely resembles that of the iOS game Death Rally than it does traditional MotorStorm, but that's hardly a bad thing. The trailer says that RC is "coming soon" to both the Vita and PSN and, best of all, you'll just need to buy one copy to play it on both.

The only real drawback seems to be the pricing for the memory cards, but then again they are selling the Vita itself at a loss so Its understandable they need to make some money back somehow.....But then again nobody says you need to get the biggest memory card immediately

Please Microsoft, study and come off with your own handheld. One that blows everything out of the water. Free access to all services right away, for the life of the product.

Looks like RC Pro Am or Sprint from the NES. Collecting the SONY letters won't be nearly as difficult and hopefully, they won't have that one car that lets you keep up for 2 laps before going to warp speed. Actually, this game reminds me more of Super Off Road. Man that was a great game. Nothing better than spamming nitros.

It looks like the Vita's going to have a pretty strong lineup when it drops in February. If this is going to be another launch title, I say bring it on. Looks like it could be a pretty decent racer.
