Valve confirmed at the tail end of October that the planned kickoff that month for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's closed beta had been delayed in response to feedback gathered from pro gamers. Now a new date has been decided upon, the company confirms on Twitter: November 30.
The beta will launch at the end of the month, a Wednesday, "for all current key holders," the tweet reads. It had previously been confirmed that the initial phase of the beta would only include 10,000 people, so don't despair if you have no code. Valve's plan is to continue hosting until the full game is what people are playing, so expect the size of the testing group to grow.
