another really good way to level up you one handed and your restoration at the same time is...when you are the listener for the dark brotherhood you have the option to upgrade the dawnstar sanctuary. get the torture room, and the equip a dagger in one hand and healing hands on the other. just heal them and smack away you'll increase both at the same time. this is the first thing i have found that you can skill boost after the beginning of the game. at least for one handed. works well for two handed also but then you have to switch back and forth.

How about a link to the guide that's lets us play the game on our own without any tips... aka: spoilers? :X
all sarcasm aside...
Unfortunately the rest of the real world can't spend all waking hours playing this awesome game.... :P
I like turtles and Skyrim.
dukeletoatreides
The best guide is on Bethesda's Skyrim Forums . FYI.
imdave
My guide includes spending 70 hours on a character only to find that due to some bug I cannot talk to any NPC for more than a few seconds without the game freezing requiring 360 reset.
Any NPC, in any city, in any house...
#facepalm

Random Skyrim Story:
I was starting to worry... actually I was starting to feel guilty. I completed the Mages College quests and was making the Archmages quarters my main base. So many people there like me that many would happily follow me. But all of them eventually died. By the time I had my third or fourth companion from the mages college I started thinking, "Wow! If this were real life I'd have quite a reputation. People would probably stop following me since nobody who does comes bak alive."
Sure enough when my most recent companion bit the dust a new quest popped up. "Rejoin the Mages College" or something like that. Impressive yet again Skyrim.
A quick fast travel and 250 gold later I was back in their good graces.
All right my fellow mages.... Who wants to follow me now?
I have not played every game ever made. So I can't truly say that Skyrim is te best game ever made. But I've played a lot of games in my 34 years of life. Skyrim is without a doubt the best game I have ever played.
Thank You Bethesda. We're not worthy!
