Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Elite: Interview with Beachhead’s VP of Production Daniel Suarez

Call of Duty: Elite, the social stat-tracking service for Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops, continues to have issues. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 apps had trouble keeping up with the sheer number of players after MW3's launch, while the PC version has remained down since then. Now it appears that the PC version will be delayed for the forseeable future, according to a Eurogamer report.

Activision tweeted out a response to a fan's question saying "We are working towards a universal Elite experience but we cannot guarantee if or when a version will be available for the PC." Ouch. That doesn't sound super optimistic for a quick launch. The delay seems to be dealing with making sure that the leaderboards and stats remain pure, so the contests are fair.

As for those of you with the 360 or PS3 app, be sure to check out our Call of Duty: Elite guide to help you get the most out of your experience.
