Glen Egan, President and CEO of Sanzaru Games addressed Sly Cooper fans via the PlayStation Blog to reveal some new details on the upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. The main thing that Egan touches on is the ability for gamers to not only travel back in time to meet the ancestors of the Cooper clan, but also to play as them.
"As you proceed through the game each episode you encounter features a new time period with a new playable ancestor. Each new member of the Cooper clan has their own unique and powerful abilities that open up a whole new range of game play in the huge environments," said Egan.
He only re-introduces us to one new ancestor, Rioichi Cooper, the master of the Ninja Spire Landing from the original Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, but he sounds a lot cooler this time around. When you get in to Rioichi's shoes you'll be able to use his master ninja techniques like a Leaping Dragon Technique that'll let you span great distances between spires. He's also the inventor of sushi, if you're interested.
Hopefully we'll get more updates on Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time soon, because I want to learn about the other ancestors we'll get to play as! Are you excited for the next installment of the Sly Cooper series?

well if you played all three in ps2 and ps3 versions and mastered them by getting all three platinum level trophies then you would have seen this coming and it is going to be a very great game with raccoons and brown raccoons very strange
