You might remember a little rumor popping up late last week concerning Microsoft and a potential new console reveal for January's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. I didn't believe the rumor at the time and that's even more true now, thanks to confirmation from 343 Industries' Frank O'Connor that Halo 4 is, in fact, Xbox 360-bound.
It started with a NeoGAF thread in which fans started wondering why 343 didn't discuss the engine Halo 4 would be using at E3, speculating that the secrecy might relate to the game being a launch title for the next console. O'Connor quickly dispelled the belief with a post of his own, writing, "Halo 4 will be on Xbox 360 and use a modified core of the Halo engine(s). Not really a singular engine since it goes through fairly radical evolutions all the time."
So there you have it. Halo 4. Xbox 360 game. Confirmed.

And the sun rises tomorrow?? You know I serious think MS just wants those xboxs to RRD so you guys are forced to buy a new one after the warranty is void. After they figure most of the xbox owners are on their third or fourth one... BAM new system.....
