You know in "Spirit of the Radio" when Rush sings about "emotional feedback"? Geddy is actually singing about this particular episode of G4's Feedback. Behold a melting pot of opinions, where emotions fly and vows are broken. Click play for a timeless wavelength that's a gift, practically free.*
On lead vocals this week we have Blair Herter with Donell Tucker on drums, JP Shub on guitar and Eric Eckstein on the triangle.
The opening act was a quick story about changes to the PSN. They followed up that number with a little song about GTA 5, Rainbow 6: Patriots and BioWare's unannounced title.
Game of the Week was none other than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Find out if Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer successfully pulled off one of the most anticipated titles of the year.
The AUDIO MP3 of this episode of FEEDBACK is available here: Right-click and Save.
*By watching this video you here by give your soul over to next week's game: Skyrim.

The reason people are upset is because they don't like losing an option. It's called "Loss Aversion". People don't like losing things or having things taken away.

one minute in, unwatchable. better luck next week.

JP is a jackass nough said about him, and his comment about BF3 lacked team work like MW3 (for the first few weeks) is the key element of what he said and this was because MW fanboys like him were on the servers and now they are not and ive had no trouble finding games where the team is working well to accomplish a goal.

Personally i think cod is really good too, but i also agree that the graphics are the same every year. The only difference is the story line and improved modes. But on the gta part, Yeah they are viewing saints row as real competition. I'm actually planning on buying it but grand theft auto is still a better franchise to me, it just doesnt let you destroy as many things as saints row does.
Fahrenex
is it me or is every year they say COD graphics are good or awesome... to me it looks the same as COD 4, WaW, MW2, Black ops there hasn't been an improvement like in other games
juggalogamer18
why do you have to bleep the cuss words out on the internet?
Funkapillar
Funny = having to bleep out one word and getting paid to say Thunderdikk 7 times in the same show. Perhaps the way to encourage team play on MW3 would be to have something akin to a 'healing streak' or 'support streak' where you get upgrades for assists that are just as lucrative as for kill streaks.

Cool feedback, the cast was pretty refreshing. These guys seem to LIKE to play video games, that's what matters. I like the black guy (sorry i forgot your name and too lazy to load it up again). He could speak and had a refreshing liveliness to him that was nerdy at the same time, you guys were missing that. He's a nerd that isn't a prick, which is rare. We're all nerds here you know, i say bring him back next time also.

The dude in the center is an extreme tool.

NO BLACK PEOPLE BACK THEN?
Funny no one questions that there are dragons in skyrim, magic or a way to upgrade through constellations, but no black people? oh yeah that is a problem. Blair: "Seriously Bethesda there were black people back then too"... back then when? back in a fictional time period THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!!!!!! which for some reason is totally not ok to exclude black people, while we accept the rest of the crazy sutff in it. I've seen a million games without black people, asians, american indians, and latin people. So by his comment it is safe to conclude that every other race has been represented in Skyrim except for black people since he didn't mention the lack of others right? Are developers expected to make every single game friendlier to society's sensitivities? Well I am getting Skyrim next week and the first thing I am going to check is how many different races there are in this FICTIONAL world( which for all I know)it is indeed not intended to not have back people anyway (for whatever reason).

I agree with why the GTA5 trailer was released. And that was because they view saints row as real competition now. But it's not gonna stop people from buying it come release day on 11/15. Or picking up their pre-orders like me. Personally I would rather they made a new Vice City game but it seems rockstar does not want to make GTA they way it once was. Which is sad. Serious games are not for everyone.

Would have loved to have heard what JP thinks about Rocksmith, but I guess "those games" get no love from Feedback. Enjoyed the panel and agreed with Donnell on all his point concerning GTA and multiplayer. Looks like they just invited the minority to be a minority, but I am with you.

Personally, I really liked the song selection for the GTA V trailer, and it did get me excited for the game. I really enjoyed GTA4 and it's sheer scope impressed me quite a bit. I also played the GTA4 Episodes and found them to very solid games.
That being said, I don't feel that trailers should show me much from the game to begin with. It's like movie trailers ruining parts of the movie by showing too much footage in five different trailers. It makes the movie not flow for me when I see it because it's all implanted in my head already and I feel a sense of deja vu. I always read several reviews of the games (and surprisingly find little spoilers) I am interested in buying to ensure my money is going to be well spent anyways.
I could altogether do without another trailer even being shown for GTA V because my purchase will be based on past Rockstar games and those reviews I will read. Simply put, trailers ruin content and story for me.

guys on feedback you should go look at the grphics from cod4 and mw 3 they look the same for the most part. if you like the parts of the story then that has nothing to do with the graphics. second showing a whole building being vaperized in the frost bite engine would be vary demanding on all platforms due the better lighting and shading plus textures in the FB2 engine. mw3 has a older engine as a base and is not as demanding on the system. your point on mw3 are from my point of few are unfounded on facts and more so on your love of the call of duty series. so plz for the love of god try to use your brain before making a opinion on part of a game before you say it. i love cod played the crap out of it in school fun as all get out, battlefield is better due to the fact that no where is safe. if you stop moving is cod your fine noting to worry about cover the door and your good to go, in battlefield the doorway the wall the whole damn building can comedown and end your spree.

I don't have a PS3 but I can say that the way I use my 360 the sort of change the PSN is making would completely eliminate my ability to use the downloadable games and DLC. I don't have the biggest hard drive so I'm always deleting and redownloading whatever content I want to use at the time. Like the Red Dead Redemption or Mass Effect 2 DLC those are both several gigs so I don't leave them on the hard drive at all times. I have to imagine there are PS3 users in a similar situation.

I HAVE AN IDEA FOR REMEDY & ALAN WAKE:
If they decide to go digital only, develop a whole season with 4-5 episodes, but do not set the story in stone. Release each episode periodically, and let the gamers vote at the end of each episode (THROUGH THE IN-GAME MENU-XBL), what they would like to happen next. They can decide the locales to visit, the fate of certain characters, and maybe the meaning of certain enigmatic events. Do not reveal the voting results so nobody knows for sure the most popular choices. Also, don't make the choices too black and white, but make sure they do carry an impact.
No, get to work, and thank me later.

So now we've heard G4's response to all the hate comments on the internet. MW3 is a better shooter, because it's more like a Michael Bay film. Which is good for people don't really prefer shooters and just want to see explosions. The fact that it's similar to MW2 is completely irrelevant.

no Adam ....no thanks

Liked the first fan question but something people need to remember: You're only missing the special content for a short period of time. They will eventually bring that content to the DLC market and have it available for everyone. It happens all the time. Everyone seems to complain in the beginning about having 6 versions and needing to purchase all of them to get the full experience. Then when it's available for DLC, everyone complains about it was supposed to be their exclusive content.
Personally I'd like to see the companies stop making multiple versions of the game that give exclusive content to people. Now With Assassin's Creed, the only thing I want is the encyclopedia that is goingto the European market. I can't get that version but I can buy it on their site for 35 dollars so I'm happy there.

Well, i have to admit that i was wrong. I never thought i would see the day, but Blair really upped his performance for this cast and is now starting to settle in as a more accomplished host.
A great episode with three pannelists who actually sound like they are passionate about games and gaming. I didn't necessarily agree with all the points that they were making, but at least there were no "cringe" moments this week when i actually felt sorry for a guest who didn't sound like they knew what the were talking about.
Keep up the good work folks !. :)
