Walmart shoppers will get more than discounts on toilet paper when they stop by their local store on November 7th. Beginning at 8 pm Monday night shoppers will have the chance to participate in CoD: Mordern Warfare 3 tournaments before the game is released. Nearly 3,000 stores will be throwing MW3 tournaments. After you've played a few hours you'll be able to pick up the title when it's release at 12 a.m. November 8th.
Check out WalMart's game center for more information on prizes and stores that will be holding tournaments near you.

Sony, like MS and Nintendo, have reported that sales are down from last year. NOTE, this for the year, not the quarter.
In the case of the PS3 its down by between 700,000 to 900,000. Still early considering the holidays but it appears the PS3 and Wii peaked in year 4 and the 360 in year 5.

The PSN didn't go out, it was manually shut down by Sony after a group of hackers got into the system. Whereas the rrod is a hardware problem. Not comparable
Also, the loss in profits is overall sales in the consumer products division. Sales of PS3 systems are actually up since they reduced the price.
Try checking your facts before you start fanning the flame war. Same to you SILENTxHILL1234. Why do people feel they have to hate on other systems? I own a PS3, my fiancee owns an X-Box 360, we still love each other. I love my PS3, and I like the X-Box, I just don't like Microsoft.

Stop crying and face facts:
Sony just announced they will be finishing this year with an estimated 1.2 BILLION dollar loss.
The 4th year in a row of losses.
The PS3 is indeed amazing, an amazing failure after 14 years of profit, a 6 year head start on gaming compared to MS and an 80 million unit install base lead with the previous generation.
Meanwhile MS is profitable and MW3 will sell more games than anything else this year with the lion share going to the 360 as usual.
And there's nothing the haters can do about it!
