Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition Announced

We all suspected it was coming, but now the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition has been officially announced by Bethesda. It'll come with all of the DLC for Fallout: New Vegas including Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash and Gun Runners’ Arsenal.

The Ultimate Edition will also expand the Wasteland, adding in areas like the Sierra Madre Casino, Zion National Park, Big MT research crater, and the Divide for new and old explorers alike. The level cap will also be raised to a max of 50.

The Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition will be available on February 7, 2012  for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Does that mean there will be some more DLC for those who own the game already?

Is it just me...or does nobody wait until the game has come down to 20 dollars or less...I haven't bought a game full price for at least 10 years.

I'll probably pick this up. Granted I already have a copy of New Vegas I got as a gift I think it would be a wise investment to hold off on picking up any of the DLC (Especially with all of these games coming out xD) and then just picking up the "Ultimate Edition" when it launches. It took me so long to get into the game in the first place with all of the glitches but now that I can actually play it it's a fantastic game and since I'm reaching the end of everything I can do on the disk then I'll just wait a few months and get all of the DLC in one big swoop.

guess i will trade in my original copy and pick up this one sense i have not bought any dlc yet,the price of all the dlc's together is probably more then a new game.

I want it only if they fixed the bug that makes the strip gate load a black screen and nothing else.

got halfway played dead money got burned out and then I decided to wait for the GOTY, sounds awesome I think I am ready again, my only debate is skyrim before or after new vegas GOTY because skyrim might ruin new vegas for me

I just really hope that make it so when you play the game through you can continue past the end. I was glad when they did and I heard they didn't fix it in the expansions. I hope they do that in this one.

Wow, that's just great. I'm not complaining about buying the expansions already, but why can't they patch the game in the way they are doing with this edition? I would also like to travel the whole wasteland without having to travel to the expansion areas, as you have to do right now. There's no way to enter those areas without leaving behind your default companions, and at times some or all items. I bought the collector's edition when it came out, why can't they just give us a patch for this?

Even they knew it wasn't anyone's Game of the Year.

I kind of wish that this game was better, it's not as good as Fallout 3, but it's still good. I kinda hope that if there is a new Fallout game, it's got some features from Fallout 3, and has some of the features of New Vegas. That would make for a great game.

I liked Fallout 3 more. It might have been the fact that I played 200+ hours of Fallout 3 but after about 20 hours of New Vegas I was bored to death.

I am fully satisfied in waiting this long for New Vegas, I can wait another 12 months from release for the 20$ price point. I'm all about getting the most value for the least pay. Although for franchises I really love like Assassins creed, I will go out day one to show support. Is it jsut me or is there an obsurd amount of good games to be getting. Last year at this time I went through and did a bargain raid on Amazon and got halfway caught up on 360 games. I still havnt opened half of them!!!!
Now Im seeing a whole nother line up starting at the end of this year bending all the way around until next summer that I wont be palying probably until the new console comes out. But its a win win there too, wait to get those new consoles after they've been out for a year or two, especially with their long life cycles now (game development wise - not actual physical life span). Use the newborn phase to catch up on all the great games for cheap!!!!!

New Vegas is still just a decent game even with all the DLC, whereas Fallout 3 was exceptional.
