Hard Reset

Flying Wild Hog did a great job of dressing up retro-styled first-person shooter gameplay in a beautiful cyberpunk world in the PC-only release, Hard Reset. It's a simple game, one that is heavily driven by circle-strafe combat, but it is both fun and eye-catching. Our Hard Reset review lays everything out.

There's a new 1.2 patch for the game that adds a number of new features, as detailed in the Steam forums (via Destructoid). The big add is a new Survival mode, which can be played on two maps -- Arrival Hall and Landing Pad -- with the same difficulty options that you have in the campaign. Also new is support for NVIDIA 3DVision and multiple displays. Get the full rundown of features and fixes in the Steam post.
