There's a new trailer for Ninja Theory's DmC: Devil May Cry today, an extended version of the Tokyo Game Show trailer that offers up some fresh gameplay from this Devil May Cry reboot. Dante sports a new look in the game, though the trailer's first look at him in Devil Trigger mode is pretty much what fans would expect.
Also, hey... THIS GAME LOOKS INSANE! It's not like there hasn't been footage of DmC online before, but something really clicked for me in these gameplay clips. DmC: Devil May Cry should be coming to a console near you sometime next year, so stay tuned for more.

This is, and is not the Dante we all know and love. This is him as a teenager, before all of the other games, of course he will be different. I am willing to give this game a try, even if it looks different from the four games I got use to. It still looks really fun, and I can't wait for it to come out.

never played any of the other devil may cry games ( outside of a demo of number 4) but this game looks pretty sweet. Dante's a cool character, and his new look seems to suit him quite well. Looking forward to DMC !

What's the smart thing Capcom should have done? Announced a new IP being made by Ninja Theory inspired by the combat of DMC with it's own original characters and story. Then I think everyone would get excited cause it looks like a decent game.
But trying to call this Devil May Cry is just terrible. Would have rather seen a game where you play as Vergil before the events of DMC 3 or even one about their dad before Dante and Vergil where born.

No need to talk too much, this guy isn't Dante and never will. Make him walk as cool as you want, give him white hair, doesn't change the fact that it is CLEARLY NOT the Dante we learned to love.
The biggest mistake of this game will always to not have made this guy a new character.
To sum up, Who put Twilight in my Devil May Cry??

if we all calm down and look at all the games the first 3 games where not in order. Dante was old then young then old and in 2 of them. then we got Nero he wasn't Dante but we still excepted him and give him in a chance if you don't like it don't play it.

It's DMC people...Just play it or don't play it. It's a reboot/prequel to the actual series we've grown to love. Team Ninja is awesome at making an established franchise their own, and pissing off the fans of that franchise in the process. They did it with Metroid, and this game will be no different. Unless he's in his infamous Red Coat with White hair, no fanboy of the game will be happy with it. Let's just wait and see, for all we know it might just be the best installment of the series...But don't quote me on that.

DMC is my favorite franchise, and to clear a couple things up.
It's a prequel.
1. Dante hasn't unlocked his full power yet, that's why he looks like that. He smokes ciggs in this game and he's always said he didn't in every other DMC game.
2. That Devil Trigger makes his hair white and his coat red, anyone notice that? Looking closer to the Dante we all know eh?
So what I'm thinking is that this game is Dante on a quest, finding his full power and unlocking his full potential by the end of the game. Then he'll look like the Dante we've all come to love. Game looks awesome, btw.

THIS DMC DOES NOT FALL CHRONOLOGICALLY WITH THE ORIGINAL DMC series. Developers has already confirmed it. This is NINJA THEORY's version of Dante. Yes its a REBOOT but NOT A SEQUEL. So please pass the word on to everyone else.
