Sony has released new details around the PlayStation Home redesign and I've got to say that the complete makeover seems pretty exciting.
When the new PlayStation Home launches it will come with a brand new Hub, genre-based districts, Total Game Integration, and a questing system that will make Home a game in and of itself. Check out the video below with Jack Buser, Director of the PS Home project, as he takes us on a video tour of your and improved new digs.
According to Buser it won't be long until the new version of PlayStation Home will be available to everyone. Are you excited for the new features?

I WISH HOME WAS GOING TO BE ON THE XBOX 360!!!!! THE 360 IS MY CHOICE OF CONSOLE FOR A PREFRENCE!!!!! MAYBE MICROSOFT WILL DESIGN SOMETHING COMPARABLE TO HOME IN THE FUTURE!!!!!!!

As long as they got rid of the stupid loading whenever you tried to move between areas. Make Home a constantly streaming place like an open world game and it just might become sorta interesting and less of a pain to use.

You know I was thinking once they showed the pier "can I ride the ferris wheel though?", then when they were showing the other districts, I was just thinking "can I ride the ferris wheel though?" and when they started elaborating on the pier I was still thinking "CAN I RIDE THE G* D* FERRIS WHEEL!?!!". Thank goodness he answered my question, that I can, in fact, ride the GD ferris wheel. Because thats why I spent $300 dollars on a PS3... to ride a GD ferris wheel.

Not really. Home isn't anything worthwhile. It's not a game so why bother? Just because it's the better platform doesn't mean it needs to load up on fluff, I say they should cut all the movie, music, pictures, and non-gaming junk and focus on what matters - good games. That's what sold the PS1 and PS2.
