I'll admit, I've always been a fan of Koei's sprawling, brawling Warriors games. Give me a beefed up fighter, a cast of thousands to pummel into submission and some really bizarre cutscenes, and I'm there. Warriors Orochi 2 (not this one) combines rosters from the Dyanasty and Samurai Warriors Koei games, but it's also going to shake things up with a few guest stars.
Ninja Gaiden's Ryu Hayabasa, Bladestorm's Jeanne d'Arc and Warriors: Legends of Troy's Achilles will all be playable fighters in Orochi 2, Siliconera reports. Each will also get a character-specific stage to run around in. Warriors Orochi 2 is one of the last new games you'll be able to buy this year, with an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release set for December 22.
