Capcom released a pair of solid light gun shooter games for Wii set in the Resident Evil universe in 2007 and 2009-- Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, respectively. The publisher now confiorms that the games, which offered alternate perspectives on the events of the previous releases, are now PlayStation 3-bound.
The news was confirmed (via Andriasang) at the Resident Evil 15th anniversary event held in Japan over the weekend. Resident Evil Chronicles HD Selection wlil pack both of the Wii games into one newly HD collection, with Move support. No release date or pricing was revealed, so stay tuned.

RE's Chronicles games are great fun. I'm glad to see that they're "confiormed" for future release. :)

with all the good wii third party games going to ps3, I hope nintendo can get the wii u some great games and hold on to them.
