GameStop wasted no time in making good on its September promise to start selling a line of branded, Android-powered tablet, as that's exactly what the retailer is now doing. As an initial test run, 200 GameStop retail locations in the U.S. are now hawking the first run of these devices, according to The Wall Street Journal (via Gamasutra).
The branded tablets come from Asus, Acer and Samsung and are priced to compete with the prices you'd see on the same devices in competing stores. The ones GameStop is selling come pre-loaded with seven games, however, including the mobile versions of Electronic Arts' Dead Space and Madden NFL, as well as the retailer's Kongregate Arcade app.
