The PlayStation Vita is launching on February 22, 2012 in the US and Namco Bandai has announced their three upcoming launch titles for the handheld console including Touch My Katamari, Ridge Racer, and Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen. These diverse titles are "set to give gamers a unique and compelling dose of fun, speed, and action that will take full advantage of the upcoming PlayStation Vita system from Sony Computer Entertainment," according to Namco.
Touch My Katamari is a completely new Katamari game which will allow gamers to use the rear touch screen on the Vita to stretch their Katamari ball either horizontally or vertically to pick up more objects or squeeze trough gaps. I personally love Katamari games and this will definitely be one of the titles I'm looking for if I decide to get a Vita at launch.

In Ridge Racer for the Vita you'll get the standard RR experience with high-speed drifting and break-neck speeds in high-performance vehicles, but you'll also get to experience the Vita's "Near" feature. With near and Wi-Fi players can race with anyone from around the world in real-time.
Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen will allow gamers to play as Zen, a master assassin through his dynamic storyline of betrayal and intrigue. You'll have work as a ninja to assassinate and dispose of enemy forces.
“Between the innovative new gameplay features in the irreverent new Touch My Katamari, the blistering speed and online connectivity of the gorgeous new Ridge Racer, and the intense, open-ended, assassin-based action of Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen, Namco Bandai Games will be delivering top-tier content for the launch of the PS Vita in a very big way,” said Carlson Choi, Vice President of Marketing, Namco Bandai Games America.
