When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle chair. Oh wait, yeah there is. Adam Sessler and Blair Herter have exchanged roles on Feedback. Adam has stepped down as host, allowing Blair Herter to take the throne. Stephen Johnson and Jessica Chobot evened out the rest of the royal court.
The show took an oddly metal turn from the get-go. Blair used his new power to allow Stephen Johnson to debut his "Feedback Video Games" music video. Viewers, I hope you're happy.
This week's news topics included Mass Effect 3's co-op, video games on iOS and updates from New York Comic-Con.
Game of the Week was Batman: Arkham City. Will Rocksteady's sophomore Batman game be a contender for game of the year?
Feedback has it all, dire wolves, dwarfs, and decapitation. (Disclaimer: No it doesn't.)
The AUDIO MP3 of this episode of FEEDBACK is available here: Right-click and Save.
If you enjoyed this week's Game of Feedback, leave a comment and let us know.
Special shout out to Astro for those swanky new headphones.

its like having your favorite football team change quaterbacks. Of course Blair is gonna do a fine job, but itll take a while to get adjusted to no crazy, random obscure referencing Adam.

Sigh... If we are going to put a beautiful girl on the show, can we please get the mic out of her face so we can actually enjoy her splendor?

another great episode of feedback and I loved how there was just a cut off battle lol

Actually now you can transfer purchases made on you iPhone to your computer... so there is some level of multi-device support for apple products now.

You know with all the change that has come with feedback, patrick, heppe, I think adam was the person who always kept me coming back. I don't know that Blair can pull off that intellectual point of view that adam had.

I think that opinion of Gamestop to come out and say that the Catwoman content for Batman needs to be included for every copy of the game is a testament that this locking of content just so the publisher can get a little more money is stupid especially when that content is really fleshed out. I don't know if they will raise the price or the used game, they probably won't. I think they will most likely hand out a 10 dollar point card for the system of choice so you can get your content. I don't think they could get codes from the publisher but it is possible.
Instead of giving it free to new purchases only, they should have just left it as DLC and have everyone pay the 10 for it. It's definately not a simple unlock code either. you download 216MB of data when you get it so this is content that isn't on the disc. It's the perfect kind of DLC that gamers are looking for. It's just a horrible move to give it free to some and not everyone because you'll miss out on some really good story points and plots

I'd like to remind all g4 viewers that you can get your helping of "The Sess" through the weekly segments of Sessler's Soapbox.

I'm sad to see adam leave his seat because he seemed to be the "rational" and controlling face that the show needed, too often the panelists would go way out on the edge and adam had to reel them back in, i'm not sure that blair has the ability, or the desire to be the "mature voice of reason" that the show needs, I hope i'm wrong because i love blair's character of the wild and zaney presenter, however of everyone to take over feedback, part of me yearns for casey schreiner, in that casey has the intellectual capacity and the stoicness to be entertaining, and at the same time to argue effectively with the panelists. i just hope that this isn't a way of adam pulling back from his duties and potentially resigning from g4.

Great episode guys. I'll miss you Sess. That said, I think Blair will be a worth successor. Looking forward to more.

Great feedback, I enjoy Blair as a host and everyone as well, very funny people! If I may make a request, you guys should go back to putting some youngsters on the panel, you used to do that and now you don't. Personally I thought the younger generation brought a refreshing perspective simply because they're a little more willing to prove themselves, and because they are a bit more in the loop GAMING wise, not just gaming news and forced game reviews. I mean, i don't want to sound like a troll, but i bet if you took a survey of the G4 audience they'd say the same thing. Am I right? Abbie Heppe? Patrick? Remember them?!

Love the show, loved the music video, hope Blair does a great job going forward but I have just one gripe. In the days of yore, while this show was just getting off the ground, almost every episode was characterized by someone being incredibly off axis from one of the mics. Lately, this has not been an issue. This week we got that classic, and not welcome, Feedback sound. I mean, I was enjoying it but the whole time I wanted to reach through the screen and move that mic in front of Jessica's mouth so it could do some good. Seriously, take a moment before you start recording and please make sure everybody is on axis to the mics. Small gripe, keep up the good work.

I have to admit, that was the most uninteresting feedback I've watch so far. I really don't care for the opinion of J. Chobot because she is obviously a niche gamer. B. Herter gets to be annoying after a bit. Cest la vie. The Sess and S. Johnson are always cool.

I m not a comic book/Batman fan, but I did like the first game so I bought Arkham City, and at this point I think I m in the same boat as a mixture of Stephen and Adam. After 3hrs of play last night, I thought the game was great, but I just don t really feel excited or compelled to play more. I feel intimidated by the game because it doesn t hold your hand much in the beginning, because the world seems massive, because I m already confused by the story, because the control scheme seems extensive and makes me feel old for having trouble remembering what to press to perform certain actions (I hate it when I m fighting and it says press B+Y at the bottom of the screen while I m struggling not to get punched in the face), and because I m afraid my lack of knowledge in Batman lore will prevent me fully grasping details down the line.

wonder what the real story is with the change of host. I would guess adam got a promotion or they would not pay him more for this.

I think the show lost something when Abbie Heppe left. She and Adam had a good chemistry and as a result, that chemistry brought a lot of energy to the show. In the episodes since, Feedback has sometimes felt like an old guy's show. I've been watching Feedback since the first Nightcap episode and the revolving door of presenters and guests seems to have gotten older over time and while they may have brought a more mature outlook to games and gaming, sometimes the energy and fun just didn't seem to be there.
Hopefully Blair can bring some of that energy and fun back. I'll miss Adam presenting; hopefully he'll be a recurring guest. I agree with some of the other comments in that I prefer Blair Herter in smaller doses. I'm not too sure how a one-hour weekly show will go with him. But, I'll be tuning in for the next few weeks to find out. Hey, if a hottie like Jessica Chobot can put up with him, he's probably got some hidden depths!
Is it just me, or is anyone else just waiting for Blair and Jessica to have a screaming domestic on the show some week! It'll probably be over him accidentally wiping Japan Life off her iPad. I had thought there was something up with them when he gave her the rice cakes and she was quite dismissive of them. I wonder was that why he turned off/down her mic???

will miss the sess but change is good

Feedback will never be the same without Adam, it was his intellectual and insightful commentary that made the show.
DoctorTroojan
Very well done. Really great episode Jessica's mic. Hope the Blair will live up to Adam. Best of luck
wickedinsane
WOOT - what a great feedback theme song orchestration, Stephen!
Anyways, its pretty sad to hear that Adam will leave the show; sure, Blair is really great, but I will miss Adam much! Hope to see you back in the show as special guest one day!
