What kind of giant game release would Batman: Arkham City be without some sort of post-release hubbub? An atypical one. Unfortunately, this one seems to be very typical, as reports are popping up that some players are having troubles with the game's included DLC redemption code(s).
Some packages are missing certain codes, some have more than one for the same content and some simply have a blank space where the code should be printed, according to Joystiq. The problem seems to cover the whole range of possible pack-in DLC, including the Joker challenge map, Robin codes and Catwoman "online pass" content.
This could potentially turn into a big problem if it's not sorted out soon, though fortunately Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment seems to be on the case. The publisher suggests keeping an eye on the game's official Twitter feed for updates.
For what it's worth, I got the game yesterday, just the plain, old vanilla version, and the included Catwoman code worked with no troubles. Have you had any problems with your own Arkham City purchase? Let us know below!

Didn't get the collectors cards either, but what bothers me is my Dark Knight skin was missing. Wonder how they will resolve this issue.

This wouldn't have been a problem in the first place if the extra content was consistent between retailers. I bet they're inclined to give the affected gamers SOMETHING to make up for this.

I'm a huge DC fan and because i don't own a PS3, and ill never get to experience DC Universe online. I was waiting to sink my teeth into Batman Arkham City. But This whole DlC problem has ruined it for me. I pre ordered my copy from BestBuy picked it up yesterday morning. Downloaded The Robin and of course the Catwoman DLC. Then everything went to hell. The downloadable window pops up ever so often, so i haven't truly experienced the game. I've tried everything Deleted the game, deleted the DlC's, disconnected from XBL nothing, i still cant enjoy only what i heard is an amazing game.

I purchased the Collector's edition from Best Buy at Midnight, had the Dark Knight Returns Skin, Catwoman, Penguin Challenge map and Robin Code. Didn't get the download code for Gotham Knight, and the Robin Code didn't work.

I gotten batman arkham city at gamestop at midnight. I gotten the codes for the animated series batman skin, the joker challenge map, a streaming video of batman gotham knight and a dropcard with 3 free songs to download. The skin and the map I had no problems. The dropcard's website was not up Tuesday morning (1 am) but after I gotten off of work it was up and I gotten the music, no problem. I still haven't been able to find that movie. Although I am not in a panic because i have already seen it.

@ Chronouz - Wait til next month when the Robin DLC is out. I checked out Ebay and people have it up for about 20 bucks (and more) and that's just for Buy it now.

I got the collators edition and the DLC that came with it workers, but I didn't get the Robin DLC at all so now I'm looking to see how I'm going to get it....

The DLC codes I have from the collectors edition and the Green Lantern Blu Ray worked.
@ G4Vegeta - That sucks about geting only the DVD instead of the Blu Ray. Might want to ask someone from WB about any mix ups.

Got the collectors, I couldn't pass up the statuette. All my codes worked except the Robin DLC. I am sure it will be sorted soon enough.

Nope. The Catwoman code worked and the Gotham Nights Movie code worked, The Batman Animated skin code worked for Game Stop Powerup rewards worked. No problems at all other then time to play the game. :)

my gotham knights code didn't work, but i figure i'll just wait a day or two and see what happens, i mean it doesn't effect the actual game. All game related codes, catwoman, joker's carnival and animated batman skin worked just fine so i happy.
