Batman: Arkham City is finally here. You don't need to hear it from me, but the game is pretty damn stellar. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment isn't just relaxing while we all flock to the new release. A Los Angeles Times interview with Warner Interactive president Martin Tremblay reveals that the publisher has some big plans for the next year or two.
The bulk of the interview is focused on the publisher's history leading up to the release of Arkham, but Tremblay takes a moment at the end to look ahead. A game based on Peter Jackson's upcoming Hobbit movie is in the works, due to release before the film's December date. Sequels for the LEGO Batman and Harry Potter games are also coming. The item that sticks out, however, is Tremblay's mention of "a game featuring a superhero from Warner's DC Comics unit."
What could it be? Who could it be? Throw out your suggestions in the comments below.

A Wonderwoman game by rocksteady would be awesome.

They should make games of not so popular heroes like Green Lantern, Green Arrow or Wonder Woman. If not then make a third Batman and a good Superman game.

Rocksteady PLEASE make a Superman game that DOESN'T suck total balls!!

with what they did with batman, they could really do a lot more if they did Green Lantern.
Krypton
I want a Flash game. Other than that, I hope Rocksteady develops other DC games besides Batman.
I would love a Justice League type game sort of like the Marvel Ultimate Alliance ones. Hopefully the roster will be huge though.
I would also love another fighting game like the MK vs DCU, but this time let it only be DC characters. Huge roster with tons more added later as dlc.

It WILL be SUPERMAN. It probably wont follow the story of the movie....but they will want to take advantage of the movie promo. SUPES IT IS!

If they are talking about Superman (don't know any other WB-owned DC characters out soon) here's my big five on making it good:
1. An original story set in a completely different world from the Man of Steel movie. I would use the costume design of either the Man of Steel movie or the new 52 to keep some continuity with the film and current issues but like Arkham Asylum and Arkham City set the game in its own world where Superman is already an established hero.
2. Tweak the invulernable Superman but not invulnerable Metropolis concept of the Superman Returns game and tweak it to seperate taking out a bank robbery and fighting Bizarro. When taking out a bank robbery or stopping a police chase I do think Superman should be invulnerable and the mission is failed should an objective (save the hostages and such) not be completed. That way you can see the bullets bounce off him and zap guns with heat vision. Then for boss battles, missions later in the game (for example taking out forces from Apokolips), or missions where Kryptonite is involved you now get a Superman health bar and can die in the course of a battle. Breaking up the gameplay like this will make the game more enjoyable and let you feel like Superman at the same time.
3. No ceiling. That's got to be the tag line of this game. Absolutely no ceiling for Superman. You want to leave Metropolis and go say hi to Batman in Gotham, go right ahead. You want to fly into space and enter the Justice League headquarters on the moon (or the satellite) feel free. Go as far into space as you want but realize you have to go back at some point. Not saying the action of the game has to be spread throughout the world, but if the developers can pull off a world where Superman can actually leave Metropolis of his own free will half the public will be sold on just that idea.
4. Be super from the beginning. Superman should have every power from the start. Combo moves can be unlocked and alternate costumes/skins but you need to have all his powers to make it believable you are Superman from the go.
5. Slow time/Bullet time/Super Reflexes/Hyper Mode. I don't care what's its called but a Superman game needs the ability to slow down the world around Superman while he's still moving at normal speed so the player can get the feeling of having superspeed and reflexes. This way you can walk into a bank robbery, see that the bad guys have hostages, enter into this mode to slow everything down, target and melt all the guns with heat vision, and then come out of it and give the bad guys a quick knockout punch. I guess this would kind of equate to the Detective Mode in the Batman games and I know people will abuse this and keep the mode on as long as possible it should still be there for the overall experience of being Superman.

@prydie good thought hopefully the makers of Batman AC will make the game, all other dev suck look at what Sega did to the Ironman and Thor franchies total garbage ,Rocksteady should should be doing Superman Man of steel game, they got Batman wright can you imagin how badass Superman would be .

No more Superman please. I don't even think Rocksteady can get that right. It's time for a Wonder Woman game. Let the ladies represent for once....

With 'Man of Steel' due in 2013 I think it's a safe bet to guess we'll get a Superman game soon. Perhaps now that Rocksteady have proven that a licensed DC superhero game can be made and not only not suck but actually kick @$$ maybe we wont get another Superman 64. Here's me holding my breath.
