The Battlefield 3 beta has been over for just over a week now and the final numbers have been tallied. A newly released infographic reveals that a total of 8,125,310 players stepped up for some virtual warfare, a number large enough "to fill the entire city of New York."
In addition, a whopping 47 billion shots were fired; in light-year terms, that's far enough "to reach the edge of the known universe." My favorite stat is the 1.5 billion kills though, which apparently comes out to only half the amount of beer (in liters) consumed across the planet so far this year.
Pointless stats are so much fun.
