What kind of Game is it?
This PS3 exclusive is the next installement of the famed Ratchet & Clank series. All 4 one is a four-player cooperative puzzle game developed by Insomniac Games.

Insomniac Games. Founded all the way back in 1994, they've released games for all thre PlayStations, most notibly the Resistance series and, of course, the Ratchet and Clank franchise
What's the Story?
All 4 One features four main characters: Ratchet (duh), Clank (duh), Captain Qwark and Dr. Nefarious. When Dr. Nefarious's latest evil scheme backfires, the group becomes trapped in a machine called The Creature Collector. The foursome has to work together to escape.

What did we say?
From Morgan Webb's Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One Review:
"The tone and dialogue skew much younger than previous games. The series has always been appropriate for teens and pre-teens, but All 4 One lacks the puns, winks, and double entendres that served to make this a truly all-ages franchise. It was the bawdy irreverence that made the series so great. This does not mean All 4 One is insipid or cloying (OK there is one character that is insipid and cloying, you’ll know her the instant she opens her precious little mouth) and there are funny moments and some clever laugh lines, but without any edge it feels like Ratchet without the soul."

Played solo for a couple days. I wasn't sure about the game when I started, but it has grown on me a little bit. Not being able to control the camera angle is frustrating, but I've gotten used to it (almost). Not sure about the co-op mode, it might bring a little more fun to the game.
The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, the story telling is good. I really wish I could love this game like I love the rest of the franchise.
I'm still looking forward to the next game, which will hopefully return to the original format.

I put about 3 hours in last night. The game is so beautiful it made my eyes melt. The environments are some of the most vivid I've ever seen and I can't wait to see where Ratchet goes when I boot it back up later tonight.
