See that halo above the controller in the art above? That's because gamers were freakin' angels this weekend. The Extra-Life charity drive earned over one. million. dollars. for the Childrens Miracle Network. Good work, everyone!
It worked like this: Over the weekend, teams of gamers played video games for 24 hours and took donations from friends, familes and well wishers. The donations go to local childrens hospitals. Check out our amazing G4TV team.
The magic number of a million was hit at around 3 AM on Saturday night/Sunday morning, and there was a webcam capturing the magic moment. Note that the number is so high, that there's no comma in the counter. You broke the ticker, people! Check it out on video below:
