Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary PAX Prime 2011 Panel Recap

People have been wondering exactly how Kinect would fit into Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary ever since support for Microsoft's peripheral was first announced. 343 Industries finally unveiled the details at New York Comic Con over the weekend, confirming that the focus of the Kinect support is on voice commands.

As far as how it impacts play goes, shouting things like "Reload" or "Grenade" at your Kinect will make Master Chief perform the appropriate in-game action. There's also an Analyze command -- a Kinect-only feature, Joystiq reports -- that allows you to scan enemies you encounter into an in-game database containing stats and an interactive 3D model for each thing you analyze.

The features were announced at the weekend Halo panel at NYCC in a video. Here are all the Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary details.
