Jean Grey Bishoujo
The next beautiful lady in the Marvel Bishoujo collection (combining iconic superheroines and villains with traditional Japanese stylings) is sure to please a lot of fans. While you’ve seen her before as the Phoenix, the first female member of the X-Men is back in one of her most iconic uniforms, Jean Grey! First appearing in 1963’s X-Men #1, Jean was a young mutant sent to Xavier’s institute. There she honed her powers of telekinesis (and later telepathy) and became known as Marvel Girl, fighting the good fight alongside Cyclops, Angel, Beast, and Iceman.
A steadfast member of the X-Men and X-Factor throughout the years, Jean would alternate between her normal identity and that of the Phoenix. Despite many character upheavals and several deaths, Jean has remained one of the most popular Marvel heroines of all time, and now she comes to you in the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style based on an original character reinterpretation of her X-Men Vol. 2 #1 look by illustrator Shunya Yamashita.
Jean Grey explodes into action, hovering in the air and using her formidable mental powers to take on the enemies of mutants! Her flying pose looks amazing, with the heroine leaning back on one straight leg and one bent, skillfully propped up by her base. With one hand at her head to help focus her powers, Jean points the other directly at her foes with a sultry gesture. The X-Man’s unique costume is perfectly reproduced from the sexy skin-tight suit to the added details of her pouches, belt, gauntlets, and shoulder pads. Even better, the suit is resplendent in gold and metallic blue with accents in brown and red. Jean’s Bishoujo-styled face is cute and yet determined at the same time, framed by her costume’s headpiece and her fantastic red hair that even utilizes translucent materials! To top it all off, you can display Ms. Grey with or without cool detachable “Psychic Force” effects parts.

Invisible Woman Bishoujo
The amazing Marvel Bishoujo collection (combining iconic superheroines and villians with traditional Japanese stylings) is back and better than ever with none other than the Fantastic Four's own Invisible Woman! In that series' first issue in 1961, Sue Storm was a member of Reed Richards' doomed spaceflight that encountered cosmic radiation, imbuing the foru humans onbaorad with strange abilities. With powers of invisibility and force field creation, Sue became the Invisible Woman (though at first she was the Invisible Girl) and a core member of the Fantastic Four! The team's battles and triumphs over the years has made her into a top-notch superhero, beloved the world over, and now she comes to you in the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style based on an original character reinterpretation by illustrator Shunya Yamashita.

Ms Marvel Bishoujo
The statue features some very precise sculpting and detailed paint application. Dressed in black with a red sash around her waist and flaming energy emanating from her hands, she is a regal character to behold. She stands with one leg resting on the shattered remains of what looks like concrete sidewalk, her blonde hair looks as though the sculptor caught her in motion, and froze her form forever attaining flight. Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) stands about 9.1 inches tall and is in the new Bishoujo scale (1/7th). This original design is from artist and illustrator Shunya Yamashita who has worked before with Kotobukiya.

Supergirl Bishoujo
Design inspired by Superman/Batman 8(May, 2004)Supergirl From Krypton, Part 1 of 6 Alone. Specially rearranged by master illustrator Shunya Yamashita, the character and costume design is based on the New Earth version Super Girl. Standing atop a special georama cloud base, Super Girl is on patrol flying together with her partner Streaky the Supercat. Parts of her hair will use translucent material to express a natural hair flow amidst the air.

Catwoman Bishoujo
The second statue of Koto's hottest new DC Bishoujo series. Illustrated by Shunya Yamashita, with a design based on superstar artist Jim Lee's style. New design presents Catwoman in her modern costume with trademark whip. Stands 9 1/10" H atop an exclusive Batman-inspired gargoyle base.

Batgirl Bishoujo
First statue in the new DC X Bishoujo Collection, launched to honor DC Comics' 75th Anniversary. Designed by Shunya Yamashita. Sculpted by Atelier Bamboo with superb detailing. Stands approx. 9" H (increased 1/7 scale for this line).

I love the take on the heroins of DC and Marvel. Love the quality of Kotobokiya statues. Want them all. I'm just surprised that no one has ripped on them just for being manga style. Haters always ruin things.
