Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning's world will be open to players to explore. The vast world of Reckoning is so large it's "comparable" to the world of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. Craig Krstolic, the Associate Producer on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning spoke with Gamesradar about the actual size of the game.
“I’ve looked at this, and if I look at something like Oblivion, it’s very comparable in size."
“They’re slightly different scales, though,” he explained. “In Oblivion you have the central city and the area around that. We have a fairly vast area that’s spread out a little bit more with a lot smaller cities and towns within it.”
Oblivion isn't the biggest game out there, but you could easily sink hundreds of hours into exploring it. I look forward to finding out just how expansive Reckoning is. Do you think it will KoA:Reckoning's world will be big enough?
