Nintendo always makes waves whenever they release a new Legend of Zelda game, and Skyward Sword looks to carry on that tradition proudly. Our very own Nikole Zivalich got the chance to go hands on with the game recently. She continues to pass on her knowledge to you in this second part to our three-part preview.
"I flew my bird closer and closer, until it seemed like I wasn't even progressing anymore. Then I finally saw in the right corner of the screen I was being prompted to dive. Okay, Nintendo, I'll take that leap of faith. And so I jumped off my bird into the green light and fell, spiraling through the air. For a moment I saw nothing but clouds, but soon the green, leafy land below came into focus. Like I mentioned in my previous preview, your Sailcloth will save your ass throughout this game. Before I hit the ground, I quickly held down B to gracefully float to the ground."
Find out what horrors await in the Skyview Temple in part two of our Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword preview.

Zelda will sell it always does. Some voice acting and some more adult art direction would be nice. Tired of the kiddie graphical art style.

Name me one Zelda that has been motion based gimmick and nothing else. I'm waiting.

No HD graphics and an adult story line? I'll pass.

is right i knew only the special edition came with the wii motion plus and with 3 titles comming out and vet bills im gonna be broke for a couple of months no sense paying alot more for wii motion plus
when alot of ppl dont play the wii that much me included in all nintendo should have included support for the classic controller/GC controller
like most PS3 games have an option now to use either standard controller or motion controller aka Move
Zelda's ment to be played in the traditional sense with a standard/non motion controller!!
Mystical_Knight
Actually, only the special edition bundle comes with the New motion Plus controller, a gold one, if you get the standard then you have to buy it separate. Which you should, because there's a $20 difference between the 2 editions, when you can just buy the controller separate for around $15 or so. You're paying more for the gold color...lol. Actually, right now you can get a white one for $9.95 at Amazon, just checked, a while back it was $14 something.

Why don't you guys let the game come out and play it before you determine that the motion controls are going to be stupid. I cannot wait for this game. Oh and by the way BpPomerleau the game comes with a motion + controller.

right on yogi they even required you to have wii motion pluss which i dont own :( nintendo has been lacking since fall last year!!! zelda was ment to be played as a non motion controlled adventure game keep with the tradition!!

I hope it's not one of those stupid Zeldas where you turn into a dog or a bee or a dog that spits out bees when it barks :/
yogi_bear_rules
make a zelda game that's not a stupid motion control gimmick and i might just play it.
