Hey guys! It's your friendly neighborhood reviews editor here to explain why we don't have our Dark Souls review up yet. Many of you have mentioned in the comments that you'd like to know what we thought about the game. We're so happy that you value our opinion!
Because we take our reviews very seriously, we wanted to give our reviewer as much time as possible with Dark Souls. As many of you know, Dark Souls is a hardcore, brutally difficult (and I mean that in the best way possible) game, and we wanted to ensure that we explored all aspects -- including the ending -- before posting a review.
As such, it's taken us a little bit longer to fully evaluate this title, but I wanted to let you know that our Dark Souls review will be up on the site next Tuesday, October 11th. Look for it then!

Having a review ready for a new release helps us consumers decide if its something we will want to play and more precisely a deciding factor on a rental or buy worthy.
In defense for G4, this game is very hard and time consuming. It's hard to give a fair review unless you see the full game through.

I am looking forward to they're review because I respect there points of view. I like most of the people who wanted this game already bought it knowing what we were getting in to from playing demon souls. I don't read reviews to see if a game is wack 10 or not, i can do that on my own.

Hope Dana is prepared to die when the review comes out. Its a tagline dont take it serious

Bottom line no one is going to care next week. Really if the review is not ready when the game releases then just can it. People will say in this posting why do we care next week since the idea behind a review to to help them buy the product. Next week the game is old and no one cares anymore. Reviews should be up before or the day of its release.
