Rockstar games recently admitted that they have no plans to release Red Dead Redemption for the PC. The company posted a lengthy asked and answered article on their website, and one of questions related to RDR and Rockstar's other PC releases.
When asked why there are no plans to bring Red Dead to PC, the company answered, "All we can say is that whenever it is viable (technically, developmentally and business-wise) for us to release a game for PC (or any other particular platform) – we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the case 100% of the time for all platforms. To PC gamers, we hope that between the Grand Theft Auto titles, and the forthcoming L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3, you’ll have plenty of great Rockstar action to enjoy."
And there you have it. I know many Rockstar PC gamers have been waiting (somewhat impatiently) for Red Dead to make its appearance but it looks like that wait will be forever. Sorry, cowboys. The good news is that it looks like the upcoming Max Payne 3 will be coming to PC though, so that's good news, right?

PC wont be missing out on much with this game, Sure it's fun at first but definitely not worth full price seeing as the game is extremely repetitive and gets pretty boring after a couple of hours. If they would have done something as simple as putting the Lasso in MP maybe free roam would be a lot more fun I have yet to try Undead Nightmare but I have heard that is where the game shines.
I don't even know what kind of mods the PC community could make for such a bland game, I might feel this way because I bought RDR brand new when it came out thinking it would be a wild west version of GTA but I was somewhat mistaken and disappointed, The only thing Id have to say is better in RDR than GTA is the graphics and that's only because they don't have to generate huge bodies of water and hundreds of buildings, And the bullet damage to people like you could straight up make a hole in someones face I thought that was cool.

if you play RDR with the aiming on anything other than expert, then you arnt even playing the game, its playing it for you. expert aiming in GTA/RDR make those games 1000% more fun to play, and more realistic !

RDR is good but boring once you beat it, unlike GTA where there is a lot of fun things to do. and no playing poker, throwing horseshoes, the knife and hand game aren't that fun.

Good we dont need outdated games on the PC, Consoles are like Religion they are slowing the process and evolution of games...... Let the Sheep spend 60 bucks on a game they cant even mod let them eat those games....
Pc is freedom, Consoles are just a social tool to Fit in... (kid toys)

Well, that sucks. Now I like both games but if I got the choice to which game, L.A Noire or RDR, to bring to the PC, I chose the latter. It's too bad, because PC gamers can create some great mods that will improve the original game.

lol yeah, I know a few RDR PC guys and they are loud but come on. This game...just, okay I played it on my room mate's PS3 and was totally blown back at a full queefs force by it's mediocrity. GTA, LA: N, and MP will be quite enough thank you.
