Keiji Inafune Reveals King Of Pirates 3DS Game

Former Capcom creative Keiji Inafune has been relatively quiet since leaving the company last year, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been busy. He's launched two game companies so far this year, Comcept and Intercept, and it's now confirmed that the latter is working on a Nintendo 3DS game called King of Pirates.

There's not much to go on right now. The all-CG trailer doesn't feature any gameplay, but you can get a rundown of the story and take a peek at some concept images on the game's website. Andriasang also notes that the game is apparently only planned for release in Japan right now, though considering that the official website is in English, it's a safe bet we'll be seeing that change.

So Keiji Inafune has went from anthropomorphic robots to anthropomorphic pirates? Plus the main character is a penguin? I'm interested.

Im sorry, but I see neither a straw hat nor a member of his crew. This is false advertising.

These people will not become king of the pirates
