Among yesterday's many Apple press conference revelations was news that the iOS-exclusive Punch-Out-like action-RPG Infinity Blade 2 will arrive in the App Store on December 1. Infinity Blade owners can get a sneak peek at the game now, however, thanks to a newly launched update for the universal iPhone/iPad app.
Content pack #4 adds an assortment of new toys to the game for you to play with, as well as the new RookBane enemy. The update also gives fans an early look at the future of Infinity Blade, with glimpses at both the just-announced sequel and the Infinity Blade: Awakening iBook, written by Brandon Sanderson. The sequel is still two months away; those who haven't played the original wouldn't be wasting their time in getting the $5.99 App Store download now.
