Unfortunately many PC gamers who bought Rage have been experiencing severe texture pop-in, screen tearing, audio stuttering, low framerates, and overall poor performance. Apparently driver issues with certain ATI and Nvidia cards are to blame. id Software's John Carmack Tweeted, "Everyone, make sure you have latest Nvidia/Ati drivers to play Rage."
Here's a video example of the PC issues:
AMD has fallen on the sword and taken the blame for many of the issues, admitting via a Tweet that the current Rage performance drivers were accidentally packed with old OGL files. The company has promised via another Tweet that new Rage drivers with the proper OGL component to be posted later today. When the correct driver is posted you'll be able to find it on the AMD website.
So if you're experiencing these issues don't worry; a fix is on the way. Many of id Software's PC games get Day One Patches and fixes, so this isn't anything extremely uncommon, just majorly annoying.

I haven't seen any graphics issue in Rage thus far. But my PC is running 2xNvidia cards though.

that really sux that PC gamers are having these problems hope they get it fixed soon for y'all. By the way way wether it's on a console or P.C, who cares people want to play it I know I do I have been waiting for this FANTASTIC game forever!!

Oh wow, the console kiddies are coming out of their wood works trying hard to think of something good to get a rise from PC gamers with the use of their feeble brains. Rage on the PC is below par for a start but so is Dead Island and now in just a few weeks look at all the mods and fixes PC gamers made when they put their minds together for that game:

These are something you console kiddes can't do for your version of the game (even if you try, I doubt you guys are tech savvy), so enjoy the screen tearing and overuse of bloom for your version of DI. So Rage may not be a great game but there's still Battlefield 3 (PC is the best version), Skyrim (user mods for the PC) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Guild Wars 2, Diablo III and The Witcher 2 (have to wait next year, bitches).
Btw, texture pop-ins are also occurring on both console versions.
P.S. I'm referring to the console fanboys here who tried to be smart-asses, not console gamers in general.

I mainly game on my consoles for right now. (xbox 360 and ps3) It's been a few years since Ive built my computer due to not having the extra funds to upgrade right now. I really hope they get this fixed for you guys really soon. That must really suck.
To the strictly console gamers who are flaming people for no good reason at all, stop. Just because you dont understand / dont have enough money to build a PC is no reason to put other people down. You simply dont understand PC gaming. Get a clue.

Leave it to console (Insert derogatory word here) to be the first to post about a PC related problem. I really don't see the point in this being an open discussion, its just going to get negative and off topic very quickly. Chances are if you tried playing this on PC today you didn't play for long or have a whole lot of determination, the problem appears to be universal. We can only wait to see who comes out with a driver patch first. If the only thing in your life that matters to you is being able to play video games... well thats probably far enough.

I've heard that the BF3(xx.10 not sure what the first number is) beta drivers are causing some of this. I've installed them and am planning on buying it for pc so I guess I'll have to downgrade.

Serves you PC elitists right. Console boys are beating the game right now and you sit looking at an ugly flat texture. bet that $800-$1000 pc is really paying off now huh?
HA! I pay a third of the price, get to play instantly, have just as much fun with complete ease of use, and more games. Take that pc gamers

I'm having these problems... and as a matter of fact, I have downloaded the new performance pack from AMD and it has made my problems much worse. The screen continually goes black and freezes my computer, forcing to do a manual shutdown. And my computer has slowed down and has crashed randomly since the update. WHAT THE HECK AMD??!

I've got those issues. The lack of SLI support means that I'm running at a fraction of what I should be. Plus the lack of graphics options are very annoying.
