Multiple major online retailers updated their product listings for Ubisoft's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier with a March 6 release date. Even without confirmation from the publisher, the widespread embrace of that date seemed to seal it. And sure enough, March 6 is it.
Ubisoft confirmed the release date with Joystiq late yesterday, putting any speculation to rest. Though with GameStop, Best Buy, Amazon, Wal-Mart and Target all beating Ubi to the punch yesterday, I don't think there was really ever any doubt. Players will get a chance to get a taste of the Future Soldier battlefield in January, which Ubi has pegged as the window for the game's multiplayer beta.
