Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Release Date? Retailers Point To March 6

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has a supposed release date. Listings at GameStop, Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy all say March 6 for the game, and although this is not the official release date, it just might turn out to be.

The last official word on Ghost Recon: Future Soldier's release was Ubisoft saying the game would be out between January and March, with a multiplayer beta coming in January, but since then, we have heard nothing. I called Ubisoft to get the real word on the release date, but haven't heard back from them as yet. When/if I do, I promise you'll be the first to know.

March 6, though, is an interesting date in video games. Mass Effect 3hits stores that day, as does XCOM. If this rumor turns out to be true (and it looks relatively likely), I'd say there's a lot of competition for your post-Christmas gaming dollars.

While I know ME3 and XCOM are both very different from each other and from Ghost Recon: Future Solider, if you had to choose one of these three titles, which would you pick?

If that's the real release date I feel bad for them putting it up against Mass Effect 3

Future Soldier. Liked the way this one looked at E3, and I've always preferred third person shooters over first person shooters.
Would get ME3 but I haven't played 1 or 2, and I see no reason to play the game so late into the story.

There are to many first person shooters coming out, people would much rather have BF3 or MW3, then an Ubisoft attempt at making a good first person shooter.

Future Soldier for sure. :\ I just never really got into Mass Effect... Tried to, but it wasn't happening.

Definitely Future Soldier.
Never got into the Mass Effect series and XCOM just looks like one of those games that'll be a giant dud.

I will be choosing Me3. I will have enough games with Skyrim, BF3, Dark Souls, and me3 would just top it all off. This has been one hell of a year and a half for gaming. On a side note if I have the extra money I will be getting Uncharted also.

Mass Effect 3 but only because i liked mass effect 1 and 2. I'm kind of done with video games for the most part the way things are going. So many of the same kinds of games. Not enough new stuff like LA noire and Heavy Rain. I'm so tired of 3rd person and first person shooters.

Why is it for some time I heard March 6th 2012? I have known and hear for quite some time that the game was going to be released the same day as Mass Effect 3. I am getting both games at midnight regardless...
