UPDATE: Well, it looks like we've been duped. It turns out that the Hudson Twitter feed is a fake, with a newly revealed "Bloody Roar 5 screenshot" informing passers-by that "you all been trolled." Based on the widespread coverage of the "news" and how ready many of us were to accept the information as fact, expect Konami to announce development on another Bloody Roar game in 3... 2... 1...
ORIGINAL POST: Bloody Roar hasn't been seen in almost a decade, not since the fourth numbered game in the series was released on PlayStation 2 in 2003. Hudson Soft had been working on another entry in the series before the company was acquired by Konami earlier this year, but a weekend Twitter update confirmed that an entirely new Bloody Roar title is now in development.
It seems that production on a series reboot started on October 1, with the game coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3... eventually. No Wii U though, since the platform creates (as Hudson describes it) "too many issues." Expect to see members of the "original cast" return along with an unconfirmed number of new characters.
Nothing else was revealed, though with work on the game now starting its third official day, you'd probably better just relax for the time being.
