Really looking forward to this game. I have always believed that this genre would progress to actually creating fun and addictive ways to help people actually learn to play music on real instruments.

I hope this is highly successful and inspires Ubisoft to release versions that incorporate drums and keyboard as well.

I've heard a lot of skepticism about this game, but if this actually lets me play with my real guitar which I already own, there's no way I'm not getting it.

I would get this if it had bass tracks / lessons. I've always wanted to learn bass guitar, and an interactive teaching method would work really well for me.

ehh... rockband looks a bit more cleaner, easier, and fresher with the gameplay. Not everything is all out and spread like rockband 3 is... And i hate how ppl keep sayin rocksmith is the first game to incorporate real guitar... even though i still think music critics (babies) are overated in making the realness happen music video games, because i still prefer buttons over strings all day, and learn on my own time.... im not too excited yet not too bummed about this...
