PlayStation Vita Online Modes Revealed: Near, Party, LiveArea, and Activity -- Will This Revolutionize Portable Gaming?

A Sony representative confirmed that any downloads over the PlayStation Vita's 3G network will have a maximum size of 20MB, at launch. While you'll still have access to the PlayStation Store over the Vita's 3G network, you won't be downloading full games just yet. According to the rep, the limit could change after the launch window.

The representative also addressed the Vita's proprietary memory card. According to the article, Sony has no plans to push the format onto any other devices, so if you're planning on getting a PS Vita, get ready to buy yet another memory card.

What do you guys think about the download limit? Let us know how you feel in the comments below.
