EA Announces FIFA Street

You got pretty much all you need to know in the headline, but I'll summarize just to keep things all official-like. Electronic Arts confirmed at last night's UK launch event for FIFA 12 that the planned FIFA Street reboot will hit the pavement in March 2012, VG247 reports.

The release date is also mentioned on a flyer included with all copies of FIFA Soccer 12, which came out earlier this week. The flyer advertises the game's "more than 100 locations" to play in and "1v1 battles in parking lots and playgrounds to prestigious 5v5 and Futsal tournaments on the streets of the world's biggest cities."

EA first announced the reboot over the summer at Gamescom, promising 35 environments in places like London, Rio and Barcelona. We should start seeing more of this game soon, so stay tuned for more.
