Did you play Starbreeze Studios' adaptation of the Top Cow Productions comic book The Darkness back in 2007? No? Well here's some good news. 2K Games and sequel developer Digital Extremes have put together a brief video that runs through the basic facts you'll want to know going into the second game.
Oh, also... there's a hefty amount of bloody gameplay footage from The Darkness 2 to be seen alongside the video's lovely use of art from the comics. This trailer was released in Europe, so don't be confused by the February 10, 2012 release date; the U.S. still gets the game on February 7.

God this trailer made the game look so cool, concept wise. Never did get into the first one tbh, but if the gameplay is solid I might have to check this out.

i really enjoyed the first darkness... as a rental. i did like the darkness powers, never used the minions really unless the game demanded it. and the gunplay was fun. this i think will stand out from the other shooters but, with so many other high profile games coming out i doubt gamers will have any money left to pick this up. For me personally this will be a rental from redbox
