Saints Row: The Third Achievements Mostly Tame, Still Mention Testicles

I've got to admit, I expected more from Volition. THQ has released the Xbox 360 Achievements list for Saints Row: The Third, and for the most part they're all pretty mundane story- and side mission-related Gamerscore rewards. For a game that includes a human-shooting vehicle called the Manapult, you'd think the cheevos would be a little zanier.

We can gather a few new facts about the game from the Achievements list. The story unfolds in three acts, with two different endings possible. Many of the modes from the previous games will be back, along with some new ones; City Takeover seems to be a particular focus.

There are a few wackier Achievements, such as "Ow My Balls!," which unlocks after you perform "your first nutshot AND testicle assault." Another unlocks after you've played the game for two hours apiece with male and female characters. Nothing too crazy though.

Which isn't to say that Saints Row: The Third won't offer a good time when it arrives on November 15. After all, if America's Funniest Home Videos proved anything during its lengthy run, it's that nutshots are ALWAYS funny.
