Blockbuster is offering gamers a month of unlimited in-store rentals to people who purchase Gears of War 3 between now and October 7, 2011.
Blockbuster's Senior Buyer of Video Games, Randall Baker, made the announcement today:
“We want to get back on gamers’ radars with a promo that packs a punch. Gears of War 3 is certainly one of the biggest games of the year, but players may want to take a breather from fighting alongside Delta Squad every now and then. We’re giving them nearly unlimited entertainment options for those spare minutes.”
But really, what else would you need if you already have Gears? And for that matter, does anyone actually go into a Blockbuster anymore? I could have sworn Netflix killed them. Let us know what you think in the comments.
