Here's a cool and not-so-little extra for PlayStation 3 owners who are looking forward to concluding Ezio Auditore's story in Assassin's Creed: Revelations when the game arrives on November 15. Revelations is a multi-platform release, but Ubisoft has decided to use the spare storage space on the PS3's Blu-ray disc to give fans a special treat: the first game in the series.
The publisher confirms in a press release that the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed: Revelations will also include a copy of the original game from 2007 on the same disc. Xbox 360 and PC users are out of luck, though it's worth noting that you can probably find that first game on either platform for pennies if you look hard enough.

I already own a the first game so i dont need two assassin's creed games so i'll sell it to GameSpot for some reward points and the best part it still in a good condition. I take good care of my games and discs :)

I already played the first one so I guess I'll get the 360 version. Even if I didn't I'd still get the 360 version.

I never played the first Assassin's Creed ( or brotherhood ,yet for that matter) so if I get AC Revelations it will be cool extra, good thing I own a PS3. Sucks to a X-box 360 owner... though it already sucked to be an x-box 360 owner but they just keep getting kicked in the face every few weeks, don't they?

The first assassins creed will only be included in the initial run of revelations.

selling Assassin's Creed now, any buyers?
bigmonstefan
that was a poorly typed post I just put up. I apologize for that.

I didn't like the first one. It's repetitive mission set up turned me off to it quick. It was ok though because I bought it used, which meant I could take it back and get the first uncharted, and I never looked back. assassin's creed 2 was amazing though

this is nice i guess. useless to me because i already own the game, plus i have a Xbox 360. But its a neat gesture all the same

But will it have trophies, some people have played it a few times already. Trophies would be the only thing to make it worth playing through again
BONERJAM
I already own AC1 so this doesn't really sway me toward getting Revelations for my PS3.

I bought the first game on PSN after Brotherhood (as I had never played it before) but I haven't gotten around to finishing it. If they add trophy support I'd have no problem playing it again.
hoof_hearted4
thats cool, maybe ill actually finish is this time. i only got about half way through it. thought after beating AC2 i rly wanted to play the first one again for story, but i traded it in, and rly didnt wanna buy it again. but i still gotta play ACB
knight5000
Good for them, AC1 was a good game.

.....Bitchin!!!!

Well thats nice of them. I still have them all for the 360... its one of the few complete series I own ( Halo, Resistence, Gears, and GoW) Ill tell this to my friend that only has the ps3 and hasnt played any of the games yet :)

Seems kinda pointless. If you're playing AC Revelations, odds are pretty good you own or at least have already played AC1. Plus, as the story points out, you can buy AC1 for next to nothing. They should have used that extra disc space for additional bonus content maybe a "making of" documentary.

Am I the only one who enjoyed the first Assassin's Creed?
TheBRADLeyB
Yeah I would hope that it comes with Trophy Support for the PS3. (I only have a 360)
I wouldn't play it on my 360 if it didn't have GamerScore. I just did not enjoy AC1 at all. AC2 was a vast improvement and I absolutely loved AC:B and it's Band of Assassins Play. I'm hoping thhe new AC has that as well.
Jblack87
this is cool but only if they add Trophy support
