Grasshopper Manufacture announced Codename D, it's first Kinect game, last year at Tokyo Game Show. More details have now been colored in, starting with a title -- Diabolical Pitch -- and a rough breakdown of what to expect from the game. Oh... there's also some video. You don't want to see that though, do you?
Maybe it'll help to know what we're dealing with here: in Diabolical Pitch, you throw baseballs at an assortment of enemies to make them disappear. A second player can join in, and Eurogamer notes that downed players can be revived when there are two in the game.
Diabolical Pitch also may well be the first game ever to feature a "fist bump" mechanic. Knocking knuckles with your fellow pitcher activates a special fireball attack. The video above appears to be taken from a tutorial, so don't expect to get much more than a sense of what the game looks like. It will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade "later this year."
